Lead based paint, radon, contaminated drinking water, asbestos, heating oil tanks, EMF’s and other environmental issues pose potential health and financial risks to home buyers.
The identification of such issues are not part of a standard visual home inspection. Some concerns, such as a radon in air test test, can be provided as an additional home inspection
service. The various environmental issues should be referred to experts who provide these services.
